After school mentorship program is an essential way to inspire and spark learning in our children. By providing a safe space for children to work, learn, and play among their peers between the hours of 3pm to 7pm. We reduce defiant behavior; promote physical health and mental wellness, as well as support social, emotional, cognitive and academic development.
Community Service
A crucial component of programming is nurturing a commitment of service to our community. Rethink Equity Inc. , youth participate monthly in giving back, while learning their time is the most important thing they have to give.
They are a part of ongoing community events dating back to 2010. Giving gifts at Vassar Brothers Pediatric unit and most recently participating in the "Stop the Violence March', 'The Back to School Event', Trunk or Treat at Mansion Square and the city's Festival of Lights.
